Today, we will be sharing a story about how Candice uses Kabrita to supplement her son!
As a first time Mom whose goal was to exclusively breastfeed for the first 12 months of my son’s life I found this to be challenging once I went back to work fulltime. The stress of pumping and making enough milk once I found myself away from my son became a source of anxiety for me and I knew we would have to supplement. I was pretty “anti-formula” until I was introduced to Kabrita Goat Milk Formula at a Child Safety event I attended in Los Angeles. There I was able to talk to a representative of the company one-on-one about the product and take home free samples to try. Until this point, I had never really considered goat milk being an option but I personally am dairy-free and I knew I wanted to seek out an alternative for my child.
When I found out that Kabrita Goat Milk Formula would give my son a fat blend very similar to breastmilk I immediately felt calm about the decision to begin supplementing. I also appreciated the added vitamins and minerals for brain health as well as added iron. I tend to be low in iron myself and feared he would be as well even while I was breastfeeding.
The European quality also made our choice to use Kabrita Goat Milk easier since European food standards are much higher than the US. Luckily my son made the transition to it seamlessly and actually seemed to ask for it more enthusiastically than my breastmilk. Knowing he enjoyed the flavor and not worrying about my dietary choices affecting him anymore felt like a weight had been lifted.
My favorite thing about Kabrita Goat Milk Formula aside from the nutrition it provides is that it is available at my favorite stores (Whole Foods & Sprouts) so I can get it easily when we are traveling. I also Amazon it to locations when I have to which has been a big help. I always thought formula feeding would be harder than breastfeeding for some reason but Kabrita has made life much easier!
