Currently, Kabrita Goat Milk-Based Toddler Formula is available in the United States. Our toddler formula has not gone through the FDA evaluation process required for infant formulas. We are excited to let our Kabrita families know the our Goat Milk Infant Formula will be available this January and is the first and only FDA long-term authorized goat milk infant formula.

1. Ascorbic acid (VITAMIN C)
   Vitamin C is an antioxidant necessary for maintaining a healthy immune system, forming red blood cells and skin regeneration. It is also important for iron absorption.
2. Biotin Biotin is necessary for cell growth, the production of fatty acids and amino acids, which form the building blocks for protein. Biotin is helpful in maintaining healthy skin and hair.
3. Calcium carbonate (CALCIUM)
   Calcium is an important mineral needed for the growth of bones and teeth. It supports many other functions in the body, including blood clotting, heart health, and muscle contraction.
4. Calcium Pantothenate (VITAMIN B5)
   Vitamin B5 plays an important role in the maintenance and repair of all cells and tissues. It helps break down carbohydrates, fats, and protein. It also supports adrenal health, antibody formation and the synthesis of fatty acids.
5. Choline Bitartrate (CHOLINE)
   Choline is an important compound required for many functions, including nerve transmission, cholesterol metabolism, and immune system function.
6. Cobalamin (VITAMIN B12)
   Vitamin B12 is essential for red blood cell production, promotes concentration and memory, and supports healthy nerve function. It is also important for the synthesis and regulation of DNA.
7. Copper Sulfate (COPPER)
   Copper is essential to the utilization of iron. It supports optimal thyroid function, red blood cells, and helps to maintain healthy bone and connective tissue.
8. Crypthecodinium Chonii oil (DHA)

9. Dicalcium phosphate
   This is a source of calcium and phosphorus. Calcium is necessary for the growth of bones and teeth. It also supports blood clotting, heart health, and muscle contraction. Phosphorus is needed for strong bones and teeth and is also important for cell growth, hormone secretion, kidney function, and nerve and muscle activity.
10. Ferrous Sulfate (IRON)
    Iron is necessary for the formation of blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It is also responsible for energy metabolism. Iron stores begin to drop in most babies between 6-12 months of age.
11. Folic acid
    Folic acid ensures that cells develop normally. It is required to produce healthy red blood cells and works synergistically with Vitamin B12. It is crucial for DNA production and repair, especially during growth stages. Folic acid supports the synthesis of amino acids and is important for healthy brain function. 12. Galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS)
    Galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) are prebiotics. They act as non-digestible dietary fiber and may support gut health.
13. Goat Whey Protein Concentrate
    Goat whey protein concentrate is a high-quality source of protein. Protein is essential for organ and muscle function, and every tissue in the body. Proteins aid in growth and development, immune function, enzymatic function, hormonal function, etc.
    We add goat whey concentrate to our formula to adapt the whey to casein ratio of our product, to model that found in breast milk.
14. Inositol
    Inositol is a naturally occurring compound that incorporates into the cell membranes and helps exert biological processes, including cell-to-cell communication. It is important for muscle, brain and nerve function.
15. Lactose
    Lactose is the main carbohydrate source of goat milk. It is molecularly identical in all milk, including human milk. Carbohydrates are critical for optimal growth and development as they provide energy to all the cells of the body, especially those in the developing brain. 16. Manganese Sulfate (MANGANESE)
    Manganese is needed for a range of enzymatic reactions in the body. It supports the synthesis of fatty acids, cholesterol, and is needed for bone and connective tissue growth.
17. Mortierella Alpinal oil (ARA)

18. Niacinameide (VITAMIN B3)
    Vitamin B3 is responsible for breaking down fats and carbohydrates, aids in the absorption of iron from the digestive tract, and is essential for adrenal health.
19. Nonfat goat milk powder
    The non-fat goat milk powder used in Kabrita Goat Milk Formula is dehydrated premium non-GMO liquid goat milk. Our milk has a mild, sweet flavor.
20. Riboflavin (VITAMIN B2)
    Vitamin B2 is essential for growth and the breakdown of fat and carbohydrates. It also aids in the absorption of iron from the digestive tract. Similar to other B vitamins, B2 is needed for adrenal gland hormone production.
21. Rletinyl Acetate (VITAMIN A)
    Vitamin A is an antioxidant and is an important nutrient for healthy vision and the growth of bone and teeth. Vitamin A also plays a role in the immune system by stimulating the growth of the thymus gland, therefore increasing the production of immune cells.
22. Sodium Selenite (SELENIUM)
    Selenium is a mineral that works with vitamin E, particularly in the role of antioxidant. It also plays a key role in thyroid function and is important for healthy hair growth.
23. Thiamine Hydrochloride (VITAMIN B1)
    Vitamin B1 breaks down carbohydrates and stabilizes appetite. It also supports the nervous system in regulating nerve impulses.
24. Tri Calcium Citrate (CALCIUM)
    Calcium is an important mineral needed for the growth of bones and teeth. It supports many other functions in the body, including blood clotting, heart health, and muscle contraction.
25. TRI Calcium phosphate (PHOSPHORUS)
    A source of both calcium and phosphorus. Calcium is important for the growth of bones and teeth. It supports many other functions in the body, including blood clotting, heart health, and muscle contraction. Phosphorus is needed for strong bones and teeth as well, but it is also important for cell growth, hormone secretions, kidney function, and nerve and muscle activity in the body. This ingredient is also added because it helps to prevent the formation of lumps in the powdered formula, making it easy to mix.
26. Vegetable Oils-Kabrita’s OPO blend (High SN-2 Palmitic oil, Soybean oil, high oleic sunflower oil, and palm kernel oil)
    Fats are crucial for normal growth and development. Plant-based oils contain a range of fatty acids. As no single plant-based oil has a comparable fatty acid profile to that of breast milk, formula will contain an oil blend.
27. Vitamin B6 hydrochloride (VITAMIN B6)
    Vitamin B6 is essential for normal growth in the body. It is needed for healthy red blood cell production and the absorption of vitamin B12. B6 is necessary for the production of stomach acid, which is critical for the optimal digestion of protein.
28. Vitamin C

29. Vitamin D3
    Vitamin D3 is essential for regulating calcification and mineralization of the healthy bones – it also helps to increase the absorption of both calcium and phosphorus in the digestive tract.     Vitamin E is an important antioxidant. It also supports the production of hormones, connective tissue growth, and minimizes inflammation in the body.

    Vitamin K1 is needed for blood clotting, healthy bone and teeth, and aids in the absorption of vitamin D.
32. Zinc Sulfate (ZINC)
    Zinc is necessary for growth, carbohydrate digestion and supports the immune system

Kabrita formula is not organic. Our formula is Non-GMO according to European standards and is is produced in the Netherlands where strict regulations already limit the use of antibiotics, hormones, and pesticides, and govern animal welfare. You can learn more about our farms on our blog.

Kabrita Goat Milk Toddler Formula contains no-GMO soybean oil as part of its plant-based fat blend. Soybean oil is not the same as a whole soybean, which is one of the more common food allergens for babies and young children and has been linked to hormone disruption. While most children transition easily to Kabrita’s mild, sweet-tasting goat milk formula, some may benefit from a gradual transition over five days. Simply combine their current formula or milk with Kabrita, gradually increasing the amount of Kabrita and decreasing the amount of current milk or formula used. You can find preparation and mixing instructions on the back of the formula tin, and on our blog. For every 2 oz of water add 2 scoops of powder. Be sure to fill the bottle with water before adding any powder to ensure accurate measurement. Adding water to powder can over-concentrate the formula.
